غزل

عمر بھر زخم اس دل پہ لگائے بھروں گا

تیرے سر چھڑھ کے مروں گاجب بھی مروں گا

 

ابھی تو چپ چاپ سہہ لیتا ہوں نشتر ان کے

رونے دھونے کا کام میں  رات کو کروں گا

 

کیوں سنائے جاتے ہیں لوگ مجھے

میں بھی انسان ہوں آخر کہاں تک سنوں گا

 

حسن انکا اتنا بھی روح پرور نہیں

کہ ان کے نام میں صورةً یوسف  لکھوں گا

 

بہت شوق سے سنتا تھا  داستانیں عشق کی

اور سوچتا  یہی تھا بڑا ہو کر عاشق بنوں گا۔
